A private equity baked procurement and cost reduction specialist is looking to hire a VAT Recoveries Manager to join the existing team.
The role is a permanent full time position based in Uxbridge and will report to the VAT Director.
This is a client facing role, so professionalism and a smart business appearance is paramount, strong communication skills are required. You will be responsible for management and efficiency of data processors, in conjunction with the Audit Manager to ensure the same with auditors.
You will also be required to have secondary European language skills to a business level, ideally in French, Italian, German or Spanish.
On going duties will include project management of 8th / 13th Directive claim processing and 6th Directive processing to see that deadlines are met. Finalize Notice of Refunds and verify 8th / 13th Directive billing.
Creating and maintaining forecasts, assisting in creating of budgets. Implement procedures to ensure optimal production, evolve procedures as necessary regarding client needs, changes in legislation.
You will be expected to contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of services to the client by building and maintaining outstanding relationships.
You will have proven experience in delivering successful VAT projects, ensuring technical excellence with a practical and business driven approach.
To be considered for this position must have proven experience within VAT, ideally gained within a professional environment.
You will be professionally qualified ideally with an ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent.
