With an anticipated duration of 6-9 months, the role is split 50:50 between compliance and advisory work.В The compliance is UK focused and the advisory work will involve system changes and upgrades; liaising with the business on the VAT effects of new products, which in turn will hold some international VAT issues and implementing changes in legislation.
The position has arisen through an increase in work load and therefor requires someone who is adaptable and flexible as to the work they will carry out, and who has a solid understanding of VAT in order to tackle projects autonomously.
