Responsibilities of the Financial Services Senior Manager may include:
*Providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients including hedge funds, investment partnerships, broker dealers, community banks, etc.
*Providing tax consulting services to other offices
*Creating and working on firm-wide initiatives for financial services tax issues
*Expanding project management responsibility while acting as the primary contact
*Managing the overall project plan and project economics
*Supervising and training staff and seniors
*Evaluating and selecting alternative actions to lessen the tax burden and cost of compliance
*Recognizing and communicating potential risks
*Identifying potential changes in the tax policy and applying new policies to tax compliance
*Assisting in handling routine questions from federal or state agencies
Required Skills
*6+ years current or prior public financial services tax experience
*CPA, preferred
*JD or advanced degree
