Job Description
The Senior Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for providing clients with tax guidance in regards to planning and compliance. The right candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to implement strategic solutions. Other responsibilities of the Tax Manager will include:
* Implementing tax strategies that align with clients' business objectives, corporate tax, pass-through entities, S Corps and industry focus
* Providing timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
* Building client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business
* Developing and guiding staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective performance feedback and aligning team responsibilities with skills and developmental goals
* Enhancing technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and applying them to moderately complex situations
* Demonstrating professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products
Required Skills
* 7+ years of Federal Corporate Tax experience
* CPA license
* Excellent managerial skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with proven ability to implement strategic solutions
* Organizational and analytical skills
* Professional demeanor
