Our client is a Big 4 firm whose Performance and Reward Team sits within the Human Capital Group and advises clients on Executive Compensation and Benefits, Share Plans, Human Capital due diligence and Mergers and Acquisitions services, Reward Management and Global Mobility Policy. Clients range across all industries, with a focus on advising fast growth UK companies and US and European corporates operating in the UK, and typical projects can range from a week to six months in duration.
The role
This team is seeking a Manager with relevant experience in the design and implementation of share schemes. This is a very exciting opportunity for career development in a vibrant and constantly changing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
В• Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
В• Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
В• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
В• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm
The person
You will be an experienced tax professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join this growing team. In addition you will possess the following attributes:
В• Strong and motivated team player
В• Experienced tax practitioner with reviewing skills and expertise in functional area
В• Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
В• Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
В• Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
В• Ideally ACA/ACCA/CA; or
В• Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification.
В• CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
