This is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified Tax professional looking for their first role in industry.
The Role:
Reporting to the Tax director of this listed multinational business you will be a key member of the international Tax community within the business taking responsibility for indirect tax and direct tax matters for the UK.
More specific responsibilities include:
• Advising the business units of any tax issues that may arise from their activities
• Ensuring that all tax charges and current/deferred tax balances are managed and complaint with US and local GAAP requirements
• Preparing and ensuring submission of all returns and computations for VAT and Corporation Tax
• Assisting the Tax director with on going ad hoc projects; international tax matters and restructuring for example
The Person:
Qualified from practice or industry with ACA/CTA or an equivalent qualification. Being commercially astute will be important whilst also being able to demonstrate that you can influence at all levels. You will be keen to progress as well within your capacity in the Tax team, as the business will be offering good career prospects for the right candidates.
