Our client is a Big 4 firm whose Financial Services tax practice provides advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.
The Role:
As a result of their strong expansion plans, our client is looking for a Tax Manager for their Tax Compliance team based in their Edinburgh office. This is a growing team and offers the right candidate strong opportunities for career progression and development.
You will be an integral part of the team and have instrumental role in developing the business. In addition you will have the following responsibilities:
В• Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
В• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
В• Assist in winning work by proactively leveraging existing client relationships and contribute to winning new clients.
The Person:
You will be an experienced tax professional with an ACA qualification who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join this growing team.
In addition you will possess the following attributes:
В• Relevant corporate tax compliance experience В– at least three years in compliance
В• Ability to build strong client relationships
В• Commercial attitude
В• Client driven with a strong commercial awareness
В• FS industry knowledge preferred but not essential
В• Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
В• Strong verbal and written communication skills
