The In-Country Tax Consultant will proactively monitor and document changes in regulatory requirements and national standards for their given country/market, and periodically report these. Specifically, the In-Country Tax Consultant will:
В• Be aware of regulatory bodies to monitor and their cycle of work
В• Have the ability to distinguish between applicable and non applicable information in a timely fashion
В• Document changes in regulatory requirements and national standards within Belgium
В• Assess and report on the possible implications of these changes on the regulatory compliance of Microsoft Dynamics products (in English)
В• Be flexible as they may be asked to participate in conference calls
Experience
В• A background in tax/financial consultancy, with a strong understanding of corporate governance, tax law and standards in financial accounting in Belgium
В• 5+ Years experience in financial consulting and systems within their given country/market
В• Experience in any of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP products (Axapta, GreatPlains, Navision) a distinct advantage
Requirements
В• Must have fluent written and verbal English as well as French
В• In depth understanding of the technology industry
В• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
В• Entrepreneurial spirit В– ability to work independently as part of a startup team initiative
В• Have obtained a minimum of Degree level in the Accountancy/Business and Finance field and preferably hold a tax or accounting qualification.
