This multi-billion dollar company, operating around the world in a cutting-edge industry, has an opportunity for a commercial and ambitious International Tax Manager to join its regional head-quarters in Luxembourg.
The position supports the business whilst identifying & implementing tax strategies in EMEA. Working collaboratively, the Senior Manager supports the business on a real time basis in respect of day-to-day matters & projects. This is a highly visible position with direct contact with senior management & business leaders.
Along with tax strategy, tax planning and general tax advice, you will need to support the business in tax audits and M&A deals. The Senior Tax Manager is also expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Tax Department to increase process efficiencies in transfer pricing, tax provisioning & compliance.
You will need around seven to ten years of international tax experience from a Big 4 firm or from the in-house tax department of a multinational company. Experience should include several international tax regimes, ideally including UK, France and Germany. Ideally you will have some basic US tax knowledge (from working in the regional tax department of a US multinational). Experience of intellectual property issues would be a distinct advantage.
