Reach International is working with this global accountancy firm to appoint Transfer Pricing at the Manager grade. The roles are to be based in either the Toronto, Calgary or Montreal offices. Huge growth in the Transfer Pricing market in Canada is driving large requirements for overseas recruitment.
The Role
Demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to clients. Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services and work products. Identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services. Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend transfer pricing in audits, lead in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop quality, practical planning services. Manage the work of client service team members. Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions. Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans.
The Candidate
* a business related degree complemented by an accounting designation
* previous exposure to TESCM (Tax Effective Supply Chain Management) would be highly desireable
* a minimum of 7 years of business or economic advisory experience
* strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
* the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, professional services environment
Note: For the Montreal role, any knowledge of French would be beneficial
