This international firm is seeing tremendous success at the moment, with annual turnover of over £10billion. They are seeking an experienced international tax adviser to play an important role in their plans for expansion into new jurisdictions. You will be reporting to the International Tax Director in a purely advisory position.
The Role
- Provide tax services to the business development team who manage the Group's asset portfolio to meet strategic objectives
- Advise on specific projects and the benefits and disadvantages of each, based on a full understanding of the objectives of the project.
- Provide input to the business units and business development on acquisitions and disposals, operations, contracts and other legal documentation to ensure business preferred approach is captured and implemented.
- Deliver shareholder value through tax planning and risk management.
- Liaise with outside tax advisors and Tax Accounting and Compliance Group on resolution of tax audits.
Qualifications/Experience required
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Extensive experience of international corporate tax including tax planning, M&A, transactions, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
