KPMGВ’s Corporate Tax team in China has a diverse and high-profile client base. They help businesses to manage their tax affairs by ensuring that their activities are undertaken in a tax efficient way. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking Senior Tax managers to join their teams across China with previous experience of PRC Tax regulations.
You will work within specific client service teams and on one-off assignments on a project by project basis. Project and client teams are typically cross-discipline and KPMG advise on China corporate income tax, business taxes, transfer pricing, stamp duty and VAT issues encountered by clients. In addition, KPMG also advise on the tax implications to clients of restructuring, and M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
В• Responsibility for managing the business, the clients and the people.
В• Participation in business development activities.
В• Develop business and tax knowledge in different industries and use your knowledge to identify tax planning opportunities.
В• Handle corporate tax advisory, restructuring works and corporate tax planning.
В• Collaborate with other functions to perform cross-team advisory works.
В• Keep abreast of the new PRC tax laws and regulations and assess the impacts from the new regulations on different businesses.
В• Provide proactive tax advisory services to our clients
В• Responsibility for coaching junior staff to help them achieve their goals. You will also review and manage their work.
Experience
В• A degree in Accounting / Finance or any other business related discipline and ideally a professional qualification (accounting or legal)
В• 6-10 years experience (including advisory) in a professional firm, preferably with PRC Corporate Tax and individual income tax experience
В• Strong drive to pursue your career in this dynamic profession
В• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Mandarin
В• Willing to travel across the PRC
