Deloitte's transfer pricing team are widely regarded as the market leaders dealing with an unrivalled client base of multinationals and UK groups with significant intra-group transactions. Our team comprises a mixture of economists ex-HMRC inspectors and tax professionals who work with the firm's clients to manage their effective tax rate (ETR) by helping them to align their business structure with their tax attributes. This involves making robust and practical recommendations on how: Intellectual property is developed, owned and exploited, Intragroup Financing Arrangements are structured and charged for; Supply Chain arrangements are established and implemented and Centrally Located Services are identified, allocated and charged. The Transfer Pricing team provides advice on all of these aspects, ensuring consistency between tax and commercial objectives and providing support in the event of a tax authority audit.
We currently have a need in our world leading Transfer Pricing team based in London for a skilled professional at the Senior Associate level. Key responsibilities will include:
*Supporting all aspects of our work from the development of transfer pricing planning strategies, compliance programmes and audit defence tactics.
*Preparing transfer pricing reports based on economic and financial analyses of the client's business to support their pricing position with HMRC.
*Working with Senior staff in the development of comparability analyses.
*Supporting the Transfer Pricing Practice through the development of new services and analytical tools, and the assumption of practice management responsibilities.

*Ability to work in structured Project teams whilst learning the ability to plan and monitor projects, budget and timescale management and people management.
Experience/Qualifications:
*Relevant/appropriate experience within tax consulting or industry.
*Experience of working with transfer pricing issues desirable, however a strong interest backed up with relevant aligned experience will be considered.
*Good technical skills base.
*Experience of using Transfer Pricing Architect software
*Academic qualifications in line with graduate entry requirements i.e. 24 UCAS points and a 2.1 honours degree.
*European languages seen as highly advantageous
