A leading provider of key infrastructure and commercial services to the oil & gas industry is seeking a dynamic International Tax Expert to join their growing operation. The successful individual will work closely with the FD and Head of Tax and as part of teams in operating units worldwide. Core responsibilities include the provision of transaction support and advice.
Specifically this includes:
Implementation of Group Tax strategy and policy
Transaction support and implementation of transaction planning
Acquisitions & restructuring
Cross-border transactions
Tax treaty issues & foreign withholding taxes
Advice to business
Review of tax in economic models
Intra group service agreement monitoring and contract reviews
The role offers exposure to a challenging range of business issues across the organisation, and you will co-operate closely with colleagues locally as well as foreign group companies. These contacts will provide you with a solid basis for further career development within the organisation.
This is a high profile role that requires substantial experience in an international context and ideally though not essentially, experience of the upstream side of the oil & gas business. You will be a motivated self starter who is able to take direction and deliver results. Good interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and strong time management skills are essential to succeed in this unique role.
