Our client is a newly created team which specialises in helping clients streamline their tax and financial management systems and run things both correctly from a risk management perspective and commercially. You will need to have a sound background in VAT but its likely that you will currently work in-house or already work in a role which involves management of ERP systems or perhaps you will have helped role out SAP to clients? I would describe this as management consultancy around tax related management systems.This opportunity would suit someone who is practical and down to earth, who can explain complicated things clearly. Pitched at senior manager level there is clear scope for promotion in the medium term as it is envisaged that this team will grow rapidly and this is a particularly key hire. Would even consider a manager looking for first step to senior manager. There is also the opportunity to broaden into other taxes alongside VAT. Part of your role will be to liaise with other VAT specialists to explain how your services could benefit their clients.
