An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Transaction Services specialist at manager level or higher to join the HR Transaction team - to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
Working with the Transaction Services group (M&A and Corporate Finance), and part of the HR Consulting division В– you will provide complex and strategic Human Resources advice to leading clients specifically in regard to transactions including mergers, demergers, acquisitions, IPOs, divestments and large structuring/restructuring deals.
Your advice will cover all areas of HR relevant to the transaction including in-depth analysis of target company HR policies, remuneration policies and plans, benefits and obligations, workforce planning, executive management, industrial actions pending etc. In this role you will work on both the buy side and sell side of deals through the due- diligence, deal planning / execution phases as well as assisting with the integration and post deal work.
Working in a global firm you can expect to be working with a broad and influential client base across multiple industries and your client management exposure in this role will be high.
Successful candidates will ideally hold 5 years+ HR Generalist experience gained in either a large corporate or professional services environment at the Manager level. You will have proven experience with HR Strategy in complex organizations and ideally you have worked on at least one complex transaction (as mentioned above) in either a consulting capacity or as part of an in house project team. You experience may also include the implementation of HR remuneration policies and plans - including superannuation/pension plans, benefits and compensation programs. This experience may be gained in any industry or country provided you have excellent English communication skills.
In addition previous management experience is sought (although not mandatory) and you will be well versed in client / stakeholder management.
