At Deloitte we have a number of opportunities suitable for gap year students (pre or post university), to work in our Expatriate team, located within our Reading office. The placement would run from the start of August 2010 to early February 2011.
The Global Employer Services (GES) group within Deloitte is a leading provider of tax based services to a wide range of companies and their internationally mobile employees. One of the key service offerings is the preparation of UK Income Tax returns for these employees.
The role we are recruiting for include a variety of duties and would draw heavily on a number of key business skills, summarized as follows:
The role involves:
В· Preparing UK tax returns
В· Database management and preparing reports
В· Liaising with clients and HM Revenue & Customs
В· Handling administration
To be considered you must possess:
В· Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
В· Strong academic background (GCES Mathematics and English Grade B or above)
В· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
В· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with third parties
Team player, with the ability to multi - task, ensuring deadlines are met
