An experienced manager in European VAT is required for this European VAT Manager position, working for a multinational company.В Acting as part of a prominent and well respected European Tax Department, this position is pivotal in providing an advisory service on European VAT matters.
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate new global VAT legislation to develop interpretations and positions as to the impact on the business.
- Resolve indirect tax audits and queries, ensuring documentation, accounting and processes are in order.
- Assist on queries that arise from overseas tax authorities.
- Work with the wider tax team and advisers on transactions and special projects.
Skills:
- Familiarity with EU tax directives.
- Analyse a VAT problem or issue and propose a viable solution.
- Handle multiple VAT projects.
- Capability to interface with people from different professional backgrounds and levels.
