An opportunity has arisen for an International Tax Manager with experience of Southern European tax regimes, to join this large & complex multinational company. This is a rare opportunity in a key region for this multi-billion euro enterprise, where you can manage a range of global industrial businesses.
This position will take responsibility for a geographical region covering Southern Europe (focused on Italy, France & Spain) and also the Middle East & South Africa.
Based in the EMEA headquarters in Brussels where business is conducted in English, you will be responsible for managing all tax affairs within your region. There will be plenty of tax planning, M&A, tax transformation projects, transfer pricing, tax accounting under IFRS (US GAAP will suffice) as well as the management of tax audits.
It is an extremely tax driven company and offers fantastic career progression for tax professionals both geographically (to look after different countries), or in other areas of finance & the business (become a business leader).
You will need at least 10 yearsВ’ corporate & international tax experience developed from within a large company and have already worked on the tax affairs of some of the countries within this region. You must also be familiar with the tax opportunities & challenges of Southern Europe and be fluent in English.
