An exciting new Corporate Tax Reporting and Compliance role has arisen with one of the most recognisable business groups in the world. This role is for a pivotal member of the Group Tax team supporting the Group Tax Director in setting and implementing the Group's Tax Strategy.
Essential to this role is the ability to manage the tax risks of the group whilst actively managing the group's tax compliance and tax accounting. In a small but highly effective tax team you will be working alongside leading tax professionals who will drive your tax career forward. This role has a broad remit and requires expertise on tax legislation & practice, monitoring provisions for tax exposures within IFRS and contributing to the assessment of budgets.
The role demands a Tax Professional with a Big 4 background and preferably a couple of years of industry experience. You will ideally be ACA and CTA qualified or equivalent, with strong, in depth and up to date tax skills. You will need a comprehensive understanding of IFRS and a good understanding of regulatory and legislative matters. You need to be resilient, high energy, self sufficient and decisive and to be able to demonstrate expert skill in the ability to influence others.
