Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will undertake the following:
* Take responsibility for all aspects of the group's tax affairs in Asia and Emerging Markets, liaising with the regional CFOs of Asia and Emerging Markets.
* Identify appropriate tax planning opportunities
* Manage the relationships with external advisers and the tax authorities in the relevant markets
* Manage the group's exposure to tax risk in these areas and anticipate how future changes, either in the business activities or in the tax rules may affect the organisation.
Suitable candidates will have international tax experience, ideally with an Asia and Emerging Markets focus. Awareness of transfer pricing and customs duty would be useful. Candidates will be considered for a full time or 4-day a week basis.
